Fun Fun Fall

Well I have a free moment to post some of our adventures from the past 2 weeks. Although I have been busy at work alot more lately, we have managed to get in a great trip to the Pumpkin Patch and enjoy some Trick-or Treating. I knew that the family and friends would like the pictures, so I knew it was time to get an update out.

We stopped last Thursday after school and picked up Sadie and then met Hannah and Claire at the Pumpkin patch.

We really had a good day. The girls so enjoyed the Pumpkins, but more than that, they loved petting the animals there and chasing the baby bunnies that were hopping around everywhere.

They all secretly wanted to catch one to take home....I could tell. It was really cute to see them sneeking up to try and catch them. They also had a good time playing on the playground...even though it was run down, the kids did not mind and enjoyed climbing on the pirate ship and doing the see-saw.

Meredith had never done one before, so it was quite cute trying to get her to use her legs.

We had fun last week making treat bags form Meredith Preschool class and for some of her friends from church. We made sugar cookies....fun by the way, especially with a 2 year old's help.

The owl bags and witch's broom sticks turned out really cute...I should have taken a picture. I got the experience of helping with Meredith's preschool class from one hour on Thursday while they had their fall festival. Meredith got to decorate her own sugar cookie with sprinkles and icing and she got to go to the schools "pumpkin patch" and pick a pumpkin. Not only did she enjoy that, but we also had stations set up for the kids to play some cute games and win prizes. Fun was had by all.

Last night was the best experience I have had with Trick-or Treating. We decided to go to Meredith's school, where they hosted a Trunk-or-Treat and fall carnival.

It was really alot of fun. When we arrived, there was a little girl all of 7 or 8 years old singing Rocky Top. Meredith stood in the middle of the road and danced all by herself to the singing. It was so PRECIOUS. All the adults around started cheering and clappin and the more they cheered the faster the legs went. Fot the grand finale, she tried to do a little kick move and fell to the ground. Of course she jumped right back up. I wish I would have taken pictures of her dancing. For now you will just have to imagine it! She had fun in the jumpy houses and even got a little afraid of a masked boy with skeleton hands. She looked at Cory and said "hold me daddy." We explained that he wasn't real and she was fine. We got to play a few games for prizes and then walk around to the Trunks to get the treats. That was so cute and alot of fun. There was even a small area of farm animals to pet, including some cute rabbits. Meredith really enjoyed this. After we had our fill there, we went to my friend Denises house to stop by and Trick-or treat and we also saw Jennifer and Pud(two other friends) there as well.
We then stopped by Lindsey and Gene's neighborhood and surprised them. Cory and Uncle Gene took Meredith around the cul-de-sac for some REAL trick-or treating. And of course I had to see Avery in her Halloween attire....that I gave her. She was so sweet....until she pooped on me. But of course, she was still precious then. I would give our Halloween and Fall fesitivies a 10!!!
